However, I don´t understand what "retrofit" means. Have seen the term somewhere.... Do you mean install an original part? The one you posted look as angel eyes, not like mine. While original lights are too weak.

Please, explain a Little bit more. Sorry for my ignorance.

A retrofit is usually a combination of new technology parts being installed in the original housing.

There are a ton of examples there of retrofitting at its best. If you were to retrofit, you'd disassemble your original headlight and install a new projector. That way you'll actually increase your light output because you're changing the optics inside. Most aftermarket headlight replacements that have little projectors don't always come with good optics and don't give you better light output (like you usually see on Honda Civics).

This has just come to me: LED headlight lamps, which I have never heard about before.

Don´t know about if any modification is necessary.

Cost seem to be competitive, quality I don´t know.

Any comments?

LED headlights are really cool too, but you absolutely cannot just get bulbs and stick them in your regular headlight housings. You'd 100% have to change out the projector for one that is designed for LED. Does that make sense? It has seemed so far to me that LED retrofits are a little out of my realm, as the really established ones are really expensive, and the cheap ones aren't really tested or proven.

That's my concern. If you're comfortable with getting your hands dirty, a bi-xenon retrofit is the way to go, in my opinion. There's plenty of space inside the headlights, so you're not very limited in terms of the projector you can use. I even contemplated replacing my projector and eyelids altogether, but decided I wasn't really ready to tackle that big of a project.

could it be that you ordered 35W instead of 55W kit?

That shouldn't make too much of a difference. a 35W canbus kit should work just fine. Granted, the stock lighting for the Halogen setup draws 55W, and you have the option of a 35W or 50W kit for HIDs. The canbus setup plus a relay harness (which TRS provides on their website) shouldn't need to be a 50W kit over 35W. I think I've said it in this thread already, but I have had both, and can't tell a brightness difference in 35W-50W.

Oh ok, my buddy had a problem with his HIDs a while back and i remember that he swapped it for a 55W and it worked perfectly. So i always thought that 35W isn't applicable for our cars. Good to know that i could do both. That mod will probably in my near future.
