What happened to the MB blue colored tint?

What happened to the MB blue colored tint?
Perhaps it's just me but I saw a new E350 go by the other day and it had that distinctive blue tint from the factory, in fact every W203 I've ever seen, sans the very first years had it too. Why did they drop it, I think It would have looked nice on the W204?

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
The blue tint was only on "sport package" models only. Your right, the w204 sport models do not have the blue tint. You can still get it on other models though, not sure why they took it away from the new C.

If you go to the dealer nearly every new Benz on the lot still has it but the W204's. However the W204 is also the newest Benz out so who knows if MB will slowly switch over to the regular glass again with every "All new model" from here on out. It's too bad because I actually like it.

C350 & ML350 soon!
There's no tint at all on the windows of the new C-class or is it just a different color (i.e. greenish, like on other cars)?
