Anybody try using Dry ice to remove door dings?

My mom's C class has a small door ding right above the fuel tank/cap. I have an appointment with the local paintless dent doctor on friday to have it removed. However, before i go to him, i was thinking of using dry ice to see if it would remove the dent. Please let me know if you have any experience with this?

Haven't heard of the dry ice method, try it and let us know. I don't have any on my C thankfully, but I have two small ones on my ML I would like gone but don't feel like paying the prices they want to remove them.

I think that video was secretly made by the International Automotive Refinishers Association.

The sublimation temperature of dry ice is about -110 F. Besides getting frostbite you are going to take the clear coat below its operating temperature of -65 to -95 F. This might cause the finish to crack, and end up with a significant repair bill to paint the panel.

^If so that looks MUCH better. But it almost looks "Morphed" from the ice? The paint looks Morphed... Or it could just be a reflection of an object. Eather way till looks 90% better.
