Some thoughts on my new car and pictures
 

For the most part, I like the new car. Little issues with it like the usual why don't the mirrors tilt in reverse topic. I like that people seem to turn heads as I turn the corner in the vehicle. That is kind of cool.

Cons:

1. The memory card takes a few seconds to load each time I start the vehicle. I will get the reading memory card message. I now have a 8 GB SDHC. I haven't tried the Ipod connection yet. I have to buy a new Ipod.

2. On my previous 2003 car, I would have the track information on the instrument cluster. Well not the information itself but track 1 etc. I would turn the vehicle off and when I turned it back on, the control was already still on track mode on the cluster. Or radio mode... Now even if I leave it on track mode and I restart the car, it goes back to the main menu. I don't like that. So I have to push the buttons to get to the audio screen. Normally this isn't a problem but when you have to do this EVERY time, it is an annoyance.

3. I do not like that you can't keep the first sunroof screen open and the back panorama screen closed.

4. Annoying navigation system. It is difficult to search for a business that does not fall in a point of interest category! It will give you names of businesses in other states. So you constantly have to add the town to your memory and then attempt to search from there. In which case, it still will not show up if it's not in the categories.

It would be nice if you could just click on restaurant POI and then search for Chinese restaurants in your area. Also it is a nuisance to even try to search for a business in which you don't have the street address. I want it to be like the yellow pages.. haha. Where you can just type the name in and it will give you the information.

5. Tiny glove compartment

6. Sometimes the rain sensitive wipers will not pick up if it's light drizzle rain.

Pros:

1. Love the illuminated door sills! I will post a picture of them. I recommend getting them. Very cool feature.

2. The bi-xenon headlights are pretty cool. I like it for the most part.

3. The leather seems comfortable to me. However you have to be careful not to spill anything on it. So I try not to put anything on the seats.

4. Love the LED lights.

5. Love the night feature of the GPS. Cool looking blue screen. :)

From the looks of your lower grill, u got the luxury model and changed the grill to the sport. If you buy the sports grill do they swap it at the factory or do they let you keep the lux grill as well?

And what do you mean by the night GPS feature?

They swap the grill at the dealership and give you back the luxury grill. I made sure to tell them I wanted to keep the luxury grill that was originally on the car.

are the door sills on all four doors? or just front doors?

The door sills are only on the front two doors. The website says they are sold in sets of two or four so maybe it is possible to put it on the back two? However my dealer said it isn't possible for the back.

And I completely agree about not being able to keep the back closed and the front open on the pano roof, that's why I passed on it.... Kids....
