Exhaust Tips on c300, just change tips

I saw a guy here in West Hollywood, dont know if any of you are in the area, that had just changed the exhaust tips on his c300, it was parked, so I went over and took a look, bent down, and checked it out. It was the stock exhaust, just with different tips, I dont know if they were bolt on or welded as I just bent down real quick to make sure it was the stock exhaust. Does anyone know where you can get aftermarket exhaust tips? These were double barrel, round round. They fit the spot the old tip filled, it wasnt an after market bumper, or the part that goes under the bumper that has the area for the tips. It was just different tips. It looked great. reminded me of the M3 kinda look, but they didnt stick out. Any clue where you can buy these or how you can do this?

most of the time, these tips are bolt on, you can usually find them at pepboys or any automotive store. they're about $20 unless youre getting high end stuff. very DIY friendly.

I have been looking for those too, but any chance you took a pic. If you see the car again, take a pic or leave a note. Would be great to have that look without changing out the exhaust

They must gave been a custom job. I removed one of my wifes tips one day bored, and a conventional tip will not just fit where the OEM was. It's hard to explain but the raw pipe that is left is sort of oval shaped and designed specifically for the oem tips. On a different note I think the OEM tips are some of the best looking factory tips on the market. If I where going to change the exhaust I would re-install the OEM tips likely.

I agree. I think the OEM tips are very well made and good looking. BUT!!! they are a big small and do not fill the opening of the OEM diffusor. If there is one that's the exact same shape/style and only a little bigger, I will get it right away.

those are probably the exact same ones as our OEM tip, except they have AMG logo on the tip. those are only 4.5x2.5" opening
I measured w204 OEM tip. the opening is about 4.5"X2.75".

We need something like 5.5"X3.5", which is exactly what the REMUS exhaust system for W204 has. Too bad they don't sell just the tips....
