Glitchy Fog lights?

So I run my fog lights and they work fine... then sometimes when i turn them off... one stays on. I've noticed this by watching the reflections on the cars in front of me... At one point...they both turned off and then when I put my turn signal on...the side with the turn signal fog light turned on...and then off when the signal turned off. How bizzar is that? Anyone have the same issue? Of course when I stopped by the dealer...none of this happened on command! :mercy:

According to MBUSA- "To help you see better in the dark when making tight turns at low speeds, the corner-illuminating foglamps shine toward the inside of the turn."
So, when you turn the steering wheel one way or the other, the corresponding fog light turns.

I think it's a cool feature.

Yep, I've had people come up and say that I have a burned out bulb. Then I turn the steering wheel and they tell me both have burnt out. :rolf:

The corner illumination is pretty cool, IMHO. Especially the car fades the light in and out. I am worried about the bulbs in the fog light burning out prematurely though.

It is amazing how many people buy cars and do not know what they have purchased. Why not read the owner's manual and get acquainted with the features of your new car before you panic. Just a thought.

Only if your "route" consists of just left and rights turns below 25 mph or whatever and no straight sections.....
