A stranger sat in my car today!
No really!!! I went to have a hand wash and the guy left my car to go find the vacuum. This other customer comes over and starts walking around the car and looking inside. Then he OPENS the door and sits inside like it is his car and is pushing the buttons and touching the seat. I am kind of freaking out at this point as the car wash man left the keys in the ignition. Then the guy gets out and sits in the back seat like it's some car show. The car wash man comes running over and tells him to get out. He gets out and looks around and I'm glaring at him. He asks me if this is my car and I said yes and he said it's a hot car.
Get this.. he then comes over and asks me if he can drive it. UHM... NO!!

We didn't really talk much after that. He asked if he could drive it and I said no and there was that pause and he said he liked the car and I said thank you. Then he tried flirting with me (<----obviously I am not a guy lol) I was very weirded out but had nowhere to go to get away from him since the guy was still cleaning my car.
I didn't get a free car wash. I wish! The handwash cost me 31 bucks! :\ What is funny is I went to inspect the vacuum job he did on the trunk and there were some particles that he didn't get.. so I kept pointing them out to him and the guy got said, "No more.. that's all I can do."

Im glad you cleared that up... the whole flirting thing. I was kinda taking back for a moment not relising that you are a female member (also explains why you didnt go over to him and throw his butt outa the car) You have to go to the same car wash everytime and give a good tip. Talk with the 'washers' and just be freindly (not flirting...) and they should take great care of you everytime you pass through. Was it your first time to this carwash?

This is my second time at that car wash . The first time the same guy used the brush to scrub my car.. looked like a big broom! I told him this time to use a sponge or a shimmy mits (I think that is what they are called) and he said ok and he started using a wet rag. I tipped him 4 bucks. I don't know how much you are supposed to tip at hand washes.

10 bucks if they do a really good job... u have to find that guy who does the best job. Once you tip him that much he/she will be jumping on your car and making shur you are pleased with it. I go to a wash taht isnt 100% hand wash but they hand 'dry' but they do a great job so i tip $5 and they always put my car out the express exit to get me out faster then all the 'common folk' waiting 30 min. for their cars. Just that little extra will go along way but it sounds like this car wash just trys to get as many people in and out as fast as they can. So they might not be worth the $31... Mine is only $13 plus the $5-$7 tip... Doesnt sound like a good deal there.

Car Wash
MBfan21, what part of the country and what car wash so we dont go there You are much more patient than me. Two seconds after I saw him pushing buttons, I would have rushed over to gently pull him the hell out of my car.
However, since he was flirting with you after, I am guessing maybe he saw you pull in and thought, the car thing would be his opening to start conversing with you. Us guys can think of any angle
Get that pepper spray and just hold it in your hand next time, probably will help you avoid any discussions.

Some "people" are so frickin bold (and stupid) now-a-days. Never knowing someones intent- this is why I always carry. And to all the members commenting on you being a lady- that doesn't mean you can't stand up for yourself. My wife would have destroyed him. And it sounds like that carwash needs a little a$$ kickin too. They are not done until you are happy- not the other way around. Take care of yourself
