Hi

I currently have a 2005 IS300, but am pretty much done with it and am looking to get a Benz. I really like this new model, but am also very fond of the previous model. The new vehicle will be in my possesion by june.

Thanks

the w204 is a great car, you'll be happy once you get it.

My wife LOVES her 2008 S.F.Avenue C350. She traded her 2007 IS250 for it. We just had bad luck with the Lexus. The only thing I dislike is not having keyless start.

omgitselaine 01-11-2008 09:30 PM

i did the same. traded in a is 250 awd for the c300 4matic :)

less features in the mb but still its so sexy and even with the lack of keyless no regrets here :)

tbenz 01-11-2008 09:34 PM

you won`t be sorry it is a great car

Congratulations... The Lexus IS was on my shortlist, but since they did not offer the AWD with the 3.5L I went for the C350W4M instead. Both are great cars with their own merits.

Ken:

It sounds like you may be Toyota's worst nightmare! If you get a chance, tell us why you decided to leave Lexus and go for a Mercedes.

We looked at an IS when the current model was released. I still think the past and current IS models are the best-looking models Lexus has ever made. Considering the looks of the C-Class, I suspect that design is a high priority for you.

I have the C350 Sport. I've only had it for two months, but it's been absolutely trouble-free. No rattles, no squeaks, no issues whatsoever. I think you'll be very happy with the new C-Class.

As for why I want to trade it in, I guess its like any other thing im getting older and im tired at being at a red light and having a piece of crap honda try and race me. Having my type of car in Miami sucks, everyone thinks im a racer. I want the Benz, because lets face it, its just sick, this new model is amazing, and from what I've heard the reposne on the vehicle is really good. Plus MB= style and class

Just for the record, I have nothing against Toyota, I havd an Avalon and now the Lexus and never have I had a problem.

Here's a pic of my car now, I dont want to post more seeing as how this is Benz site, just for you guys as a point of refence what im coming from.

Congrats on deciding to go with the Benz. :y

We're swapping out our 2001 Avalon out for the C350. I was also seriously considering the ES 350 (and 335xi), but I really wanted a sports sedan and the lexus was barely even sporty.

the thing that amazes me about this car is how solid and grounded it feels even at high speeds. the acceleration at highway cruising level is pretty awesome, such that i find myself passing 90 without even realizing, and i have to take my foot off the pedal. it's so quiet and smooth for a sport sedan. granted, the acceleration from a stop position is not going to blow anybody away, but the overall comfort and stability of the car, to go with it's head-turning looks and styling make this one of the best cars that MB has ever put out, imo.

KennethMonnette 01-15-2008 02:53 PM

Main reason I was wroking there was becuase i wanted to buy the 335 with the employee prcing but after i saw all the bays full of them wthin a week of release and all the issues they had i said no. Its funny even the master mechanis, were talling me that i was crazy to get rid of the lexus for a Beemer
