New AirFilter From K&N
...well not 100% if its "new" but I just found it
http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=33-2181
Called and it runs for $60, has anyone put one in? how much hp does it boost? If you do not have one will you get one because I shur as hell am! No air intake... yet, cant wait. I was going to go get one fabricated to fit but... i can wait for the a real K&N rather then chop up one to fit it.
Just thought I should share my findings.

Last friday i made the step of the first mod i have on my list by installing the filter of K&N.
Of course is a diffrent filter for me since i own the C200 see attachment but the results are good.
More aggressive sound (you must hear the sound in a tunnel its fantastic)from the engine when you press petal to the metal, and maybe i very little gain in power.
I have no problems with maf or ecu the car except the new filter with no problems at all.

So dont hesitate try it its something you can undo very easy if for some reason you dont like it.

Thanks. A bit pricy, since we need two, but it is a good idea to do probably.
Just would suck when MB throws them away at a service down the line. ha-ha. Guess better put the MB one back in, when taking it for service.
Also, anyone have instructions on how to get down to the air filters? I'm scared of hurting me car. I've only managed to get off the lower engine cover piece (the one with the star).

Hey guys. Amazon has this item!!!
$38.04, so don't buy anywhere else. ha-ha.
Just type in 33-2181 at amazon. Just make sure you buy the one actually being sold by amazon themselves (not third party) for best price and shipping.
I do still want your guys help in how to get down to the air filters though. Thanks.
also note - read some bad reviews on using K&Ns over in the W203. Maybe I'll pass.

CE EXO, could you maybe post some walk through photos on how to get to the air filters. I hate taking things off my engine and reliseing that my lack of engineering knowledge forbids me to travel that far
