omg BEAUTIFUL!

I was thinking of a black/anthracite rim with chrome lips, but I think the above look is FAR superior. F'ing ELITE.

The only thing, though, is that I'd leave the brakes black to keep that monochrome look.

Man... I can't control my drooling. It's spilling all over my keyboard right now.

Wow.

I'd rather prefer the lip to be polished instead.

Add chrome or carbon fiber mirror housings and painted/clear/tinted front bumper markers and it would be perfect.

I was thinking about the original Miami Vice TV series with a white 560 SEC, the star now looks "way too big", instead of just "too big".

Nice, that's my pic! My wifes car got all modded up and I didn't have to fork out a dime!

Now to talk my wife into letting me do that to her car!

Still not feeling it, the star now looks like it is part of one of those Taiwan Grill replacements that you see on older Mercs. As far as the painting & tinted lenses and such better off leaving those styling cues to Civics & Eclipses and such. I feel like you somewhat ruined a beautifully brand new car. You do realize if you sold it in it's current state expect to take $12K off the car net actual depreciation and only a used car lot would even want it. I'm not getting on you, you simply asked for everyones opinion. I'm one that finds the W204 sport perfect entirely stock. Yeah I would change the tires eventually to something more appropriate and likely get the glass tinted but aside from that anything above and beyond looks cheap.

I didn't know you were allowed to customize a leased vehicle? do they not give you a hard time when you return it?

Talking i love the grill

my question is my car is black, how hard would it be for them to get the color of the grill to match the car exactly?? Does anyone know. I would leave the Chrome star, and possibly the chrome slats.

On a side not does anyone know how we can black out the chrome around the windows? Powdercoating? Any idea?

This is a great place, I look forward to reading this site everyday.

all the best
shaun

Thanks guys for the kind words. Those subs were taken out of my CLK 430 which sounded amazing in that car but with the MM package/logic 7, the sound quality is horrible in the C. I'm selling those subs to a friend and going to go with one 12' with a custom box and a lower power amp like 300W I think for a crisper sound. I just want that hard hit from the subs you know? If the new system is still less than steller, I'm going to take that out too. The sound system with MM is amazing and all I was looking for was a bit more thump.

Subs are coming out before returning it. I asked my sales rep if I am able to return the car with blacked out lights and grill and he said I won't have any problems.

Not hard at all. They will look at your color ID thing on your door and use that paint. It's just going to be pretty pricey. Might not even look like it matches because its going on a different type of surface but ask the person you take your car to.

I think they just paint it like they did the chrome on my grill.
