I have just ordered myself a set of illuminated sills from ForMyMercedes for my W204 (hopefully deliver by end of this month). The sills do not come with installation instructions. I search and found this in the W211 thread

However, the pictures are not there anymore. I don't seem to be able to "revive" the pictures. Could it be that the post is too old, ie. 2005.

Can't help you on the pics. There is also a step-by-step instruction on thw W203 board.

Good thread to revisit though, I plan on getting those myself.

Love to see some pics after you get this installed. I was considering getting them as well, but my salesperson told me they were dealer installed so not to worry about ordering them right away.

Anyone know the cost for the sills and also ballpark cost for labour to install?

The set from ForMyMercedes is listed for ~$200. They are a little different from the oem ones in that it is a set of four, both fronts and rears, and they are all illuminated. I opt for the "MercedesBenz" one, but you can choose different ones, like BRABUS, ///AMG, or Lorinser. I am not sure about cost of installation, but have a friend who is a retired MB mechanic who is willing to to help me install them.

Yeah I saw the website, definitely a must have. Plan on just taking mine to an MB shop to install. Dammit just when you I thought there was nothing else I wanted to order.
