Got my new C2304M!
Finally today I got my new C2304M! From what the dealer told me, I should be the first 2304M delivered in BC, not that it really matters, but it made it very interesting trying to get insurance today as Canadian direct did not recognize the VIN nor the specific model as it is so new to Canada!
I originally wanted a C3004M but the wait was way to long for me ( May), they had my car ordered to be their "show piece" at the dealership to get more orders in and since it was on the way I only had to wait for 2 weeks. It happened to be optioned exactly as I wanted including the color, so it was a winner...
I was a bit afraid that it was going to be much slower than the 300 I test drove, but I could not really tell any difference except maybe the torque.
The car is amazing. Great handling in the rain filled Vancouver roads, I got it with 33KM on the odo, now she has 156 and I'm ready to head out again
I'm in love!
Here are some really bad pics from the delivery:

Just got back from another long drive, the car is simply magic. Mercedes scored big time with this one.
Thanks guys for the compliments, the rims come standard with the sports package for the c230 only! I was kind of floored when I saw them as they were nowhere to be found on the website or on the 300 or 350. Needless to say I too thought that I lucked out as they sure look hot. With these rims, the car begs to be lowered
Price wise, I paid MSRP, no room to negotiate here as these babies are flying off the showroom and they cannot get them in fast enough... The sales guy was actually wondering why Mercedes has a lower lease rate as he has no problems selling them at all...which means that rate will most likely go soon too..
Tomorrow I should get better pics...

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
I like the looks of those wheels as well, but they look smaller than the U.S. versions, are they 17" and staggered width? Might just be the angle of the picture.

Congrats on the car! Those rims are sick! They look like that ones the dealer showed me (at the dealership - not on the website) and they wanted almost $4K for them!

The UK website claims that the 230 is a 2.5 liter V-6, the 300 is a 2.0 (or 3.0), and the 350 is a 3.5 liter V-6. Interestingly the UK site claims much better gas mileage, but that may be under very different conditions (e.g., US equipment and requirements).

a few more pics from today, my camera stinks and the sun location relevant to the car did not help...any way these pics showcase how awesome the rims are. I think they should make them standard across the board for the sport models.
