Weird Fault - lights

Arggh.. just typed this and the forum went funny!!

I just popped out for a bit and because it is really foggy here (UK), thought I would leave the parking lights on.

Weird thing is, the parking lights came on the passenger side. In the UK we drive and park on the left and also the driver sits on the right hand side.

A bit odd and also (a long shot!) potential dangerous. A car could swipe half your car before realising the left hand parking lights are on!

Anyone else have this issue? Though posting on an American forum, I am assuming that is correctly set-up for you guys.

I thought it was a German car issue. But I had an Audi a while back and I am 100% the parking lights were correctly set-up. Thought you had to use an indicator stalk if I remember right.
