TeleAid Luxury and Convenience subscription
Does anyone subscribe to this?
I am interested in hearing about the Voice-Delivered Traffic feature. Is it an actual live human being giving you directions? Is it a service that works with the navigation system? I'm trying to see if there is any justification in the $450+ annual pricetag. (probably not) but I'd like to hear others' experiences with it. |
consieur [sp?] rocks! my cousin uses it constantly, for all different types of questions, from directions, POI's, car problems, anything! they will even help you reserve a spot for a restaraunt, which i find really convienent, lol.

I think Mu9enx has it correct. If you use it a lot, it may be worth it. Otherwise, it may not be worth another $240 on top of the basic Tele-aid subscription.

Had it in my R's and currently on the wife's W211. I loved it, would get it agian in a heart beat but my W204 doesn't have tele-aid. The traffic is a computer that tells you traffic by a couple of different ways, 5 or 10 miles around your current position or your metro area which then starts to read you the traffic by the closest congestion/problem then moves further away from you. The concerige is a great feature. I used this the most. They were able to get me into restaraunt's that I couldn't get into (ie: I called a restaraunt and asked for a 6pm reservation, the restaraunt informed me that the earliest they could get me in was 9pm. I then had the concerige call and attempt to make that same reservation, and walla they were able to get it.)
I really wish my W204 had tele-aid. |
