Newbie here.......Well after 2 weeks of test driving numerous cars we finally decided to buy the C300, it captured my wifes heart the first second she seen it. We opted for the sport package in black with matching leather. We are in no rush so we decided to order directly from the plant rather than off the dealer lot, now the waiting begins.........hopefully not 6 months like some of you have stated...........:eek:

If you're looking for a 300 and not a 350, you can probably find what your looking for on the lot. Depending where you live I would check multiple dealers and you'll have a good chance you can find what you're looking for. There are more 300's at the dealers than 350's.

And if you have to wait, you might as wait to get the 09. Wont be long before they'll be coming out.

I couldn't wait 6 weeks. Fortunately I found what I was looking for when I bought mine. Only thing it didn't have I wanted was the iPod integration kit. Which I can add later when I get the time.

i just leased a new c350 on saturday. i am coming out of a clk500.. it will take a little bit of adjusting.. but the dealer said they had the car i wanted at their warehouse and i should be getting it in by this weekend. i am looking forward to 4 doors... and thats too bad you have to wait so long...

You've made a great decision with the car. If you are not in a hurry, get a '09 with features we didn't even have an opportunity to order in '08

If a car is ordered now it will automatically be an 09 according to the dealer I am dealing with. The standard lead time will fall into 09 production and not be an 08 anymore.

Good luck on the wait. As easy as I switch my mind I would want another car by the time it took to order a Mercedes. :naughty:

Are you sure? On my temp contract ($1000 down) it states an 08. wouldn't they try to jack up the price of the car since it's an 09 model, now got me guessing:confused:
