I need your help and advice guys...

I am looking to purchase a new C class in the very near future, but i have my concerns.

I originally wnted to purchase a C350 4matic, but we still do not have this model in the states. Now i am torn between buying an awesome white C350 my dealer has on the lot. It is an 08, and i will get it at invoice since its late for 08's. It has premium 2 and multimedia, which is all i want.

Here is my question. Will the 350 ever come to the us in 4matic? will it be soon? if it will come soon or maybe 4 months from now, i can wait. i would love to have memory seats and power steering wheel, but i dont want to wait on just those 2 and not get 4matic. i will never move my steering wheel, and memory seats would be awesome, but oh well. i cant win every battle.

so... should buy the 2008? should i wait for a 2009 and maybe 4matic will come? how much price increase will be in 2009??

Finally, those of you with a C350 RWD, how did it do in the snow this year? obviously i will put winter tires on, but how was stopping and turning??

Thanks

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
You can now place orders for 2009 models, so your dealer will be able to tell you if you can get a C350 4matic right now and how much the price increase will be. Although I don't think it would come available till the fall if it were coming here, makes more sense as dealers won't be ordering 4matic cars for their lots durring summer months. I have the 4matic in my C300 and there is no substitute for it in winter driving, yes you can get a good set of winter tires, but winter tires plus wheels will set you back anywhere from $1-$2k and you can get the 4matic option for $1800. The demand for the C has fallen off quite sharply so getting an 09 for invoice doesn't seem completely out of the realm of reality, but if your not in a huge hurry I would venture to say you could get that 08 for under invoice as soon as 09's hit the lot.

There is no c350 4matic coming for '09 according to my salesman. However, there will be memory seats.

There is a huge thread on the 09 C-class, here it is:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w204/230391-2009-c-class.html

The last two pages have the most info.
