Good job! How long did it take you to do the head & fog lights?

itcrashed 05-12-2008 12:46 PM

wow...my lamin-x headlight shields didn't have those cuts in them for the indentations. that would have made installation 1000x easier!

are these from lamin-x? or from another vendor?

It took no longer than 30 minutes to put those on.

Mine didn't have that either. Just one solid piece. They also didn't have 3m printed on the backing.

Now that some time has passed, how are you guys liking your Lamin-X covers? I'm thinking of doing the lamin-x tinted covers on my C300 and I need some reviews.

The pics in my post were taken 2 days ago (installed months ago). I love them and they are holding up great. Everyone comments on how different the car looks. Adds an aggressive but classy look.

And you used tint and yellow right? How about the taillights? And it doesn't effect look/headlight performance at night right?

I agree, your car looks awesome!

AkaSigFreak 09-23-2008 10:14 PM

Yes- it is tinted and yellow. I didn't put film on the tail lights. It might effect the illumination slightly but definitely does not hinder vision. I always had problems night driving (that's why my tint is only 35%) and it doesn't bother me at all.

I just ordered the front package in "tint." Still deciding on the rear. The colors seems to be different on the back. "Charcole?"
