Navigation doesn't show all streets?
 

I find that the Nav system on the W204 doesn't show street by street names on the screen, merely only the major streets. I tried going into the settings to see if there was an option, but don't think there is one.

I have portable Garmin system, touch screen from my other car that is very detail and will show every street ahead as I'm driving.

This is the only beef that I have with the Nav. Unless I'm missing something??

MIne doesn't shown the street names either! Very frustrating and dissapointing. I couldn't find a setting adjustment to fix it. :X

I've noticed the same thing when I'm not in-town. As soon as I get out of the metro area it fairly disappointing. My $200 handheld GPS unit has better maps...

Let hope for a significant map update soon...

Probably needs an update. I would ask the dealer. I personally don't have one in my car but my Tomtom does not show my street and I have been living here for over 3 years. They (Tomtom) told me to check all the udates regularly.

there is a map update. its a dvd that you have to purchase. i think one of the members here has purchased it. try searching the forum
