If you have previously engaged your cruise control at lets say 70mph and are off cruse control but want to reset it to your current speed, raise the cruise control lever to the up position. This will reset it to your current speed where if you pulled the lever towards you, you'll be returned to the previous set speed.

2019 GLA 250 - I am in purgatory right now...
The # and * key on the radio are awsome tips guys. FWIW I did read the manual and this stuff is nowhere in there. The pressing two window buttons at once in the center is also brilliance LOL. One of those why didn't I think of that!

Also if you dont have anyone else driving you car, you can use the memory 2 for parking or set it 1 for mornigns and 2 for end of day.
Dont know if you guys have noticed that you set you mirrors in the moring and when you get off work you have to readjust your mirrors, its cus you body slowly gets about .5 inch shorter as the day goes due to gravity pulling you down and compressing your spine. At night you lie down and your spine relaxes so your a bit taller in the morning. Try it and see if you notice this.
I saw it on National Geo one day and noticed I was adjusting the mirror in the evening.

Noticed today ... when the trunk is up and you're still in the driver's seat, you can see out the back, through the center mirror. The hinge lifts up and away, letting you see oncoming traffic before you open the door.
My previous cars hinged much closer to the body, so you could not see out when the trunk was open.

Not a real secret, but when you open the hood, on the drivers side there is a red button on the gas shock. When you press it in it lets you open the hood to 90 degrees. Nothing new, I think it's been standard for a while, but I guess this is handy when you have to change / service the battery.

I did notice that I had to slam it down to get it to close properly.

Not a secrete or very useful tip but the dial mounted on the center console will not allow you to change stations or functions display unit unless the hood is raised.

BAD WRIST????
maybe everyone knows about this, but u dont have to turn the ignition key all the way to start the vehicle. in other words, car can start before u complete the turn of the key.
great for when u spent too much time watching adult films!

Well thats a good point, what it is...is that you simply turn the key all the way to the right and let it go. Try it to see how fast you can turn the key and let it go. The car will start everytime. This is awsome for when your in a rush cus you can set your car while the car starts its self.
I know how much time will you save? its Just fun thats all!

I think this applies to auto tranny only. In W203 manual you need to hold the key in igniotion until engine starts.

This little MB feature has been present more than thirty years but the release methods have varied.

Wipers
Ron posts:Part of P2 here in the States. Every tenth pass of the wipers the headlamp washers operate. Cool feature makes me wish I had P2.
A small correction. For every tenth activation of the windshield washers, the headlight washers operate once. Saves water.

this was a big mistake but i thought i'd add
if your car engine is started and running, and u try to start it again
No nasty crank, or grind noise!, it simply does nothing!
That's the beauty of computers, and technology, car is sometimes smarter then you!
PS> I was in a lot, on the phone, looking at a hot chick, and forgot the car was running in Park, (also very quiet)... so yes I discovered this by mistake.
I have an automatic btw, if that makes any difference!
