I just got this from the Dealer. Of course it doesn't mention anything about the engine but it helps a bit.
I figure somebody is probably looking for this.:) |

I figure somebody is probably looking for this.:) I am told by the dealer there will be no changes in the engine lineup for 2009. The 3.0 and 3.5 liter V6's will be the same as in 2008. However...........there are persistent rumors about Diesel engines and 4 cylinder gasoline engines coming to the US in the C Class. If true, these could be for a mid-year 2009 introduction, or for 2010 models. The high price of fuel has rearranged a lot of priorities. :zoom: |

2009 options listing
I have a 2001 c320 and am glad to see memory seats and rain sensors back. Both have been used a lot. I may finally break down and buy a new one.
Would also look at the navigation package. I assume it comes with bluetooth as well. Maybe P01, 427 and 320 options. I wonder if these are the new Blue-efficiency models with better mileage (if not yet Diesel). MB is making a big deal of them in Europe. |

I've never used my folding mirrors...matter a fact I have no idea if they even work ha ha..so no complaints about squeaks for me. But I would like to have the memory seats, even though I wouldn't be using them often its a nice option to have.
Wait...unless it comes STANDARD! :rolf::rolf::rolf: |

:bs:I for one am not. I knew what I was buying; made a good deal; and am still happy with the vehicle. There will always be new versions coming along.
Yes, memory seats would be a dream, but I *can* live without them. Plus, at least they took away the mirrors, so we have something the new ones don't (even if they aren't that useful). |
I can count the number of times I've used the power folding mirrors with one hand. It's nice to have, but I'd have memory seats instead any day.
Oh well... I still love my C!:zoom: |

I'm very happy to see they're including the option of memory seats. For those of us that switch cars and drivers frequently, it's a very convenience feature. I am curious if they will include active xenons for '09? I noticed the C63 lists active xenons being available, but not in the C300/C350.

How much?
<<Remember a brand new C-class is only $30,000+ in the States while it's $60,000+ in other parts of the world >>
It was not 30 grand. Not even the stripper Beirut taxi-like models were that cheap. My C300 Lux base was $33475 and with P2, MM, leather and metallic was $41636 plus taxes. My view is that a Mercedes should be equipped like a Mercedes, not a rental car. And, my car's folding mirrors fold every time I shut it down with no squeaks yet, winter or summer. Nine months and 6500 miles. |
