TSB we can reference? I've got a dealer that likes to play, "If it ain't broke it's, 'normal operation'."

Mine used to shudder but only in the "tilt-up or down" functions. I got sick of it and picked up some grease from an auto parts store and now it's smoother than ever. Again why does it need to go back to the shop again? The techs are likely going to do the same treatment, it took me all of five minutes at that to grease up the left and right track. Again this doesn't make it acceptable that a "premium" $30K+ car needs to have this done in less than 13K miles and under a year of ownership. Why does the sunroof in my $22K Nissan Frontier that is as old as my wifes W204 still work flawlessly?

Maybe it's me, I've never had a sunroof that didn't work right. That includes a college car that had 180k on it.

My wife's Audi also has the big glass sunroof and the seals on hers pop going over big angles, but it never has problems opening and closing.

My gets worse the hotter it is outside, so maybe it's the seals too? From expanding in the heat? :nix: Just a W.A.G.
