plasti-dip

lemme tell you guys, plasti-dip definitely works wonders..so far its worked great on my exhaust tips but i havnt figured out how to take apart my side mirrors. (not from the car but the mirror housing). if anyone could help me out with that, that would be great..
and does anyone know if plasti-dip works on the paint on the body of the car??
any pics? thanks

I wouldn't coat the paint with anything, it's already coated with a much more expensive, specifically designed coating. What kind of wonders does this plastic-dip work, and can you post pics of how it looks on your exhaust?

I have seen people plasti dip their rims.... Brilliant idea and just peel it off when you get sick of it!

I'm thinking of trying this stuff out on some misc trims

On your exhaust? Doesn't it melt? I've used this stuff on tool handles in the past and I have seen it done on rims and trim.

Please post some pics of the exhaust. I have been playing around with this stuff for weeks on trim, emblems, etc. I would definitely like to see what the exhaust would look like.

That does look good. Must have been improved over the can I purchased 30 years ago (you actually dip not spray). I have tools that still have the original red dipped grip on them.

That looks great! Have you tried to peel it off? I don't want to be a pain, but do you have a pics of the entire rear? I would like to see how they flow with the car. Thanks.

Spray is better for applications we use on the car.

i think i will use plasti dip is spray on condom from now on. After you done just peel it right off.
