Some updates to Darth

Added the Laminex foglight film and I also received the tint for the backup/turn signal lights. You may also notice the crappy CF diffuser was still on. Also started to change the interior 194's to Polarg M4's I need to order anouther 8 (only need 7) to finish. Also I think I need an M-88 for the passenger courtesy light. Anyone know if that is right?

I really would like to see your car. Its like reading a great book and you can see it all in your head but I really want to see your car.

Ron - how did you get the text blacked out? Did you paint it on the car or did you paint a spare set then apply?

I want to do something similar, but with black chrome rather than flat black.

I also would love some advice on how to remove the chrome door trim. I looked in EPC and didn't see anythign obvious.

Cheers.

I removed the letters then painted them flat black. Cleaned the old tape off the back and applied new. As far as the side molding goes some heat and dental floss works great. Some have had the trim snap so be carefull. Or are you talking about the trim around the windows? In that case I can't help I did mine old school with blackout tape from trimbrite.

Yep - I was talking about that trim around the door glass - I may old school it with you .. haven't decided yet.

On the emblems, what tape did you use, where from and how much of a bear was it to trim it to fit behind the letters?

TIA!

Standard 3M double sided tape. And yes it is a bit of a pain to trim.
