I don't think I would install Panasonic. Definitely Alpine.
I think somene should develop an interface so the flip up monitor/DVD player could display OEM audio functions through an auxiliary input.

I agree. I would like to see a better aftermarket option that will integrate ipod controls. We'll just have to wait and see. :nix:

But he did get all the functions of the OEM screen on that aftermarket one. Interesting.

Cool, but the original MB cover is no longer functional.

I would be nice if MB offered the 7 inch screen as an option. That is the only thing I wish I had from the MM package. I really dont need any of the other features like navi, HK system, and the hard drive.

I would be really cool to have the flip up screen to add a backup camera (which I really miss from my last car).

I think going aftermarket kills the interior, plus you have to sacrifice many of the OEM functions. I would never consider it.

Backup camera will eventually come factory fitted. I can bet on it. It was also shown in the movie Nation's treasure. Just wait for it. Do not spoil the standard interior gong after market. Save that money for the next car :-)

i only want the screen too :/
