H.I.D Fogs Help
Hey guys, i know a lot of people have been asking but this is next up on my list of mods.
Can anyone help, as far as installing these? i am going to go to a shop but how does this work without getting errors with ecu and not having to worry about only one light working because i heard this happens if its wired wrong. Is there a preset that has to be made like if you were switching from non hid headlights?
I remember searching and pm'ing some people but never got answers.

Please search on here as well as the W203 for this work-around. It has been addressed numerous times. You are afterall a Senior Member and not a Noob.

doesn't really matter whether you get 55w or 35w kit, it will still trigger bulb out warning in dash. but then i would go with 35w kit. 55w kit will generate too much heat for tiny fog light housing.
you will need something like this,
http://www.hidstores.com/store/hid-c...cable-p53.html
or
there are some hid kits with built in error canceler. something like
http://cgi.ebay.com/Volvo-HID-Xenon-...3286.m63.l1177

What i would want to know is about the The car in that pic posted above, its from japan i believe. And all the lights seen in that picture are STOCK. yea dont you wish you lived in japan now? haha japan rules but back on topic, if its stock do you think the actual fog light was modified to work well with HID's? I cant imagine they just threw them in Right? Cause im guessing if its stock than it cant just be cosmetic.
I dont have a C Class but im guessing that if you install these fogs, it might just throw out a lamp defective and they probably will work fine. In that case you will just have to throw in a resistor on both sides. Im sure someone has done it already. Search it. The HID's i installed didnt give a lamp defective error but it kept blowing the fuse that controlled my entire dashboard. It stopped blowing after i threw in a resistor i dont think you will have that problem but a heads up.

in that photo it looks bad ***, but pointless unless if you gonna turn off your headlights and drive around with just fogs on.....
i just feel that some people get a little TOO hid happy. i personally like the look of the lexus fogs that are yellow with the hid headlamps, when you have 2 sets of hid's on a car, and you see it coming towards you the first thing i think of is honda....
