To those of you who have the H&R coilovers, do you know what the minimum lowering height is? I know the descriptions says 1", but that is their generic description and they say it varies from car to car.

Info on any other coilovers would be great too.

I'd like to know if you can install the coilovers but leave your ride height close to stock? I wouldn't mind lowering it 1/2"-3/4" or so, but it would be nice to raise it back to stock (or close to it) in the winter.

Where did you get those? Did you say they were 18x8 and 18x9? I haven't been able to find those in 18's with the correct offset, only the 19's. Love to hear where you got them so I can look in to them.

Thanks, looks great by the way!

The tires are Pirelli P Zero Nero.
Front 225/35
Back: 255/30

Yes, could go with wider tire, but i know the c63 have these dimension!

c63 has 235 /40 in front with 255/35 on the back that is on 18"

@ angeloxnet : greeeeet ... get replica rims and cracks on the first bump . or better yet , what happend to a friend of mine , get the midle of the wheel lose from the outside of the wheel at 200km/h.

you can imagine yourself at let's say 50mp/h losing one of your tires ? with rim and all ? ahhh ? does it sound appealing.

you are ready to spend 50 000 USD ( just a price here , ok ? ) and you can't spend 3000 USD on a decent wheel set ?

If you are changing springs, you basically have to install the new springs first, let it settle and measure how much lower you want the rear end to sit and buy the right spacer.

Of course, you must determined the thickness of the original spacer on your car when you swap your springs to know how thick or thin of a spacer to go.

Hope this helps.

to each is own, there are some decent quality replica's out there, replica doesnt mean replica quality, it's still a wheel produced in the same fashion and same quality just a "replica" of an actual wheel design.

I've TRACKED my rims, and they didn't "fall off", nor do i have any cracks after numerous (unavoidable potholes), Not to sure what happened to your friend and sorry to hear that, but with 5 bolts i just dont see how a wheel can "fall off" also I ask myself how often do I go"200km/h+"

Do you want to adjust the rebound and damping or just the height? Personally, I would avoid D2s or anything that is not Bilstein, H&R and KW.

I know Bilstein has the PSS10 kits for our cars, but I wonder if they will have the B14 coilover kits that are similar to the available H&Rs.

i just want height adjustment . for the others its really difficult to get the setup just right. so factory rebound and damping and only height adjustable.
also i would like something in between 20 and 50 mm adjustable .
