erratic sun roof
Om my '08 c300, when I close the sun roof it "stutters"; that is, it is jerky (moving about an inch at a time) until it closes. It opens smoothly and I have tried re-calibrating my key, to no effect. Any suggestions? The car only has about 1200 miles on it.

I had a c350 08, same problem. Fix by dealer. No biggy, just waste some time.

This has become a common problem with C300s. It happened to my wife's car shortly after purchase.
For me, a trip the Benz dealer is about 120 roundtrip. Not good for me because I am easily tempted by the new car smell. LoL!

I brought in my 08 for "occasional vibrating" noise when I use the Sunroof "Up" feature. Thought that they would just lubricate something. Turns out that some part was actually broken and they had to order in some part.
Strange thing is that other then the occasional vibration, the sunroof was working fine, just that sound.
Anyway, got it back over the weekend and now the the car has windnoise coming from the sunroof, they didnt align it properly, in fact you can slide a piece of paper between the rubber seal and the roof itself. So dropped it back of today and they gave me a ML320 to use in the meantime.
So lesson learned, if you think the sound isn't normal, drop it off and have them check it out rather.

My parents 01 C320 had this problem. The dealer showed me how to reset it without having to flash the computer. Not sure if it will work on the W204, but you can try it out. My service guy held the sunroof button in the open (push it towards the rear) position for about 20-30 seconds. After that, it worked fine. Something to try, but I can't guarantee it will work.
