Been following this one. Glad to hear it's gonna come out okay. Darth is just too cool. I'd be pretty upset if (he?) got messed up, and we haven't even met!
Look forward to hearing how great Darth looks after the detailing. (I wish I could find a place here that would do a detail that cheap.)

Ron, check out my buddy Phil at detaliersdomain.com He is over in Jersey. Great guy and is completely **** about his work. He does mostly all of his jobs at home but for the right price he may come out to you. Usually takes 8-12 hours to complete a job depending on whether you want both interior or exterior detail. He does clay bar and the whole 9 yards. You can get more details from him or check the website. I get mine done by him once a year and it is good to go. He will take care of whatever the car currently looks like, I promise. Give him a call or shoot him an email. I wouldn't recommend him if I didn't use him myself. Good luck Ron.

Thanks for the referal AMG I will keep it in mind. I want to see what the AD says before I go further I feel it is their responsability now as I clearly showed the SA the problem and told him what I was expecting. They did a great job on the trunk, interior and engine bay but I didn't really need that done.

X3 and 2012 C coming soon
A lot of so-called "professional detailers" blow. That's why I started my own little thing on the side long ago. You'll know when it's right. Most people just don't pay attention to how the job was done and these, not-so-good, detailers still get customers. Seems like AMG sent you in the right direction. A complete detail should take about 8-10 hours depending on what type of treatment the paint needs.
