Where's the oil filter on the C300

I'm heading towards doing my own oil change in the next week or two and was reviewing the oil change thread over at the W203 setion. My C300 (W204) doesn't look much like what they're showing. If its under that plastic cover, how do you remove it. (I've already broken one of the snaps at the front plastic. Don't want to risk breaking anything else.)

Thanks in advance.

Also.....if you've got pictures with an actual C300 it would be helpful.

It is under the plastic cover, on top of the engine - same as the V6s in the W203.

Thanks C

My brain isn't firing on all plugs evidently.

Thanks for the link.

I'm not totally sure that I broke the retangular fastener at the back left of the front plastic piece. It may have come that way from the factory or one of the two dealerships may have done it. It doesn't seem to make much difference as far as security is concerned.
