I love my Blue Mako. It's the watch I wear just about all the time...

I have a new one coming in tomorrow from Time Factors. PRS21 Dreadnought Voyager. Been waiting years for it to be made.

I have this itch for a vintage Tudor Snowflake lately...

An itch that should be scratched. I assume in blue. One of the classics.

Pete,

That is a very sharp looking diver. What model number is that ?

Thanks. It's the FEM65002DW.

Orient USA has jacked up the prices on these in recent past. You used to be able to get them for less than $100.

When ordering online, use discount code 'holiday40' through Dec 12th to get a 40% discount.

tonyteetime 12-09-2013 02:16 PM

Thanks Pete , I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on this watch. I'm a sucker for diver and blue dial.

Pete7874 12-09-2013 02:41 PM

Haha... I'm a sucker for blue dials as well. It turns so many different shades of blue depending on the lighting.

Here's one more photo to push you over the edge... :)

You are killing me Pete. Also , I love the 6, 9, 12 dial, the layout is the same as my beloved Omega planet ocean. I must resist !

Definitely. I'm a sucker for a blue dial.

My stupid beater watch is the Invicta Pro Diver. It's a Pepsi bezel with a blue dial - and it gets a lot of complements. I end up wearing it 4 days out of 5 because I am in and out of server racks and desk diving and don't want to destroy something expensive.

There are a lot of forums out there full of people who collect watches (I'm a member of rolexforums.com for instance). It's just someone trying to find another common interest.

If you don't understand it, you don't have to read or post in this thread...

Whats your name on RF? I'm a member also (same username). Cool forum to visit, but there are some snobby ass people over there. My god I've never seen so many people so full of themselves.

I do have to agree with you. To anyone saying who cares, or whats the point in this thread? I ask you, why did you bother coming into it? Some people collect watches. Some people appreciate nice things. Some people are full of themselves and have to show off how much money they have by flashing around a Rolex as a status symbol. Im surprised people are so confused as to why there would be a thread about watches. Why post pics of your car? Because people share a common interest, and might just appreciate the beauty of it, thats why.

Back on track though, I have a black Citizen Eco-Drive, and a P series (2000) Rolex Explorer II with black dial. Got the Citizen from my wife as a graduation present for Basic Training, and bought the Rolex for myself about 5 months later because well, I've wanted one ever since I bought a fake one on Canal Street summer of 2012. :rolf:

I agree with you, I own a couple rolexes and also a member on RF. I don't post much there for the same reason you've mentioned. Actually , I enjoy the watchuseek forum and spend more time there. My user name tonyteetime is the same on mbworld , RF and watchuseek.

Not a fan of WUS mods are a bit heavy handed. Come on over to the Dive Watch Connection for a more casual forum. Most members have been banned by all the respectable forums. Fun place, I go by the same user name.

Borrowed pic of the Voyager I just received. Can't take my own yet because my Wife hid it and told me I can have it Christmas morning. :(

I'm a fan of Casio G-Shocks. I have a stainless steel Citizen as well, but more often than not a G-Shock finds its way onto my wrist these days. I'm keeping an eye on Jaeger LeCouture Master Grands and a couple Rolex models but that's probably a couple years out for me.

My two favorites - G9300GY "Mudman", and GWF1000-1 "Frogman".

don't tell anyone please. I have fakes. Rolex, Omega, and Breitling. Oh. and a genuine Casio. $100 Vs $5K-$10K. They work good and nobody can tell that they're not real. Took my Omega to the jeweler to shorten the bracelet and she (with 30 year watch making) didn't know it was a fake. I have fun. I'm so bad. I like genuine Mercedes however.

You do know you are supporting organized crime when you buy counterfeit watches? And there are some very good counterfeits but most are easily spotted by watch collectors.

Is it only because a fake one is hard to find? :)
