Except they won't ship to the US.

They should make some replica's that look exactly like these. (decent quality ones tho) That way many people can afford it and it'd be available to the US as well.

I can ship these to the US very cheaply if someone really wants them, would be approx 150-200 dollars to ship and in talking to my dealership here they will be about 2,350 Euros for the set without tires and without tax (which I don't need to pay)

I sent you a PM :) I am interested if p-ex is possible. Winterwheels on the car atm and my 18" wheels are mint.

Robbio204 12-31-2008 09:50 AM

wow those are really nice rims. i really like the multi spokes like that...are there any other similar rims that anyone knows of like that? like the brand or model?
(other than amg)?

hongcl78 01-13-2009 12:10 PM

Planning to slap on these 19" Multi spoke. Does any one have any issues with fender rubbing on these rims? I assume on standard suspension system and no lowering required. From PolePosition's pictures, it looks like the arch's gaps are well covered by the increase in rim size. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

If it's a plus one fit, there should be very little difference in the overall diameter. They shouldn't rub either.

hongcl78 01-15-2009 09:59 AM

Sorry Derspeed, what is a plus one fit?

It means you're going up one size, from 18" to 19", for example.

It also means you'll have to make sure the aspect ratio on the 19" tires are being accounted for in the new set-up. If you had 40 profile(235/40ZR-18, for example) tires originally, going to a Plus 1 size means you might need to go to 235/35ZR-19 to ensure that the overall rolling diameter isn't increased too much so as to adversely affect your speedometer, odometer, etc., not to mention avoiding the possibility of the tires rubbing with the wheel well.

For 19" you need 235/35/19 for the front and 255/30/19 for the rear. Please post a picture once you have them on. I am also very keen, but I will wait till my current 18" got worn out.

OK no problem.

Personally I think those are the hottest OEM wheels for a W204 but judging how much brake dust I get on my 18" Twin spoke AMG's I would not want to clean them.

Robbio204 01-21-2009 05:00 PM

Yeah cleaning like the "inside" of the rim is a hassle and leaves cuts and greasy hands after..lol

tategoi 01-26-2009 12:19 PM

Now I have a conundrum. The recommended tire sizes for the 19" are 235/35/19 and 255/30/19 for the front and rear respectively. The overall diameter of the wheels will be 647.1mm and 635.6mm. That makes the front wheel overall bigger than the rear.

IMHO, using 225/35/19 for the front is more ideal, as that gives an overall diameter of 640.1.

The 18" recommended size (overall 637.2 and 635.7) gives a smaller difference between the front and rear wheels.

What do you guys think?

** For a 225/35/19, the overall diameter = 225*35%*2 + 19*25.4 = 640.1mm **

Azn_C300 01-26-2009 01:33 PM

225/35/19
255/30/19

done.

RabbitDad 01-26-2009 02:19 PM

I read somewhere that they are having trouble supplying the 18" AMG (as optional upgrade in the AMG Sport Pack), at least in Europe. I can imagine that there is less demand for 19"s (AFAIK an accessory and not a factory option), so that might explain why the dealer was willing to 'deal'.

chilledbenz 01-26-2009 03:53 PM

The same style wheels are standard on the SLK 55 but are only 18''. You can also add the same 18'' wheels to a SLK 300 or SLK 350 by adding the Sport Package.
