angeloxnet 01-18-2009 12:14 PM

sure, its not hard with RWD, especially in the snow

hemptation88 01-18-2009 01:34 PM

i was driftin in the snow in my 4matic n it worked out pretty well

AkaSigFreak 01-18-2009 05:14 PM

OH MY GOD! Did I just join the JDM forum?:slap:
A while back some idiot posted pics of his car after a night of drifting. I was laughing but wanted to inflict bodily harm due to the damage that his car suffered. If you want to drift- go buy a Supra, RX-7 or AE-86 Corolla and leave the Mercedes alone.

RLE 01-19-2009 01:35 AM

Oh. no

not just the c63 was drifting...

the non-AMGs in the back are drifting too!

that pretty much gives us the green light to drift with our cars. :y

Eps will not allow it. You maybe able to get the tail out slightly but that's about it. I hope to god there won't be another fast and stupid movie. Sigh

Put it in dyno mode. And there is another Fast and the furious movie coming out later this year. With all the same actors from the very original one (including vin diesel :p:)

killacam7479 01-19-2009 02:13 PM

Yeah I saw a commercial for that, is Jordana Brewster in it? I'm a fan of her...

I'm pretty sure I saw her in the preview, I could be wrong tho. (Look for the trailer on apple's website)

Too be fair we have great cars but they're not S-classes....they've got enough power and weak enough handling that there's nothing wrong with kicking the back end out a bit around the corners.

416to212 01-20-2009 04:58 PM

Dyno Mode? I must search how to enable this.... I'm 31 and I'm married and I'll drift if I want too, especially since I can now afford the tires! Although it's not a great car to drift in, drifting in a C300 4matic is just funny, because I grew up thinking only stuffy folks drove Mercs - kinda ironic that an immature guy like me bought my wife a Merc and then I steal it at night to drift it for jokes.

whkento 01-20-2009 09:14 PM

While I imagine it'd be fun, my wife would probably serve me up some divorce papers if I tried it in her new car. :smash:
If I could find a big enough parking lot and if it snowed here, I might go do a few donuts...

Not sure if I follow you about the "weak enough handling" part??

hotcorner216 09-16-2011 04:30 PM
