DOES YOUR BACKUP CAM STILL WORK AFTER COMMAND SOFTWARE LATEST UPGRADE?
Does your backup Camera still work after command software latest upgrade?
I just bought the camera and all the stuff required for installation, and wanted to see if anybody had any reports of the latest software released to date disabling any of the rear backup cam functions?
Thanks in advance for anybody that knows about this that can relay the information to me...
I am going to go in for a warranty issue and want to decide if i should tell them to upgrade my command or not...
The version I have is the original version that shipped with cars produced in summer of 2007.

it still works. if your 2008 model updates to the 2009 model's interface, the backup camera option in the menu is number 7 on the first menu (HU parameters i think) and then number 7 again on the second menu, and then scroll down to the teens for the backup camera option. hope that didnt confuse you even more

You need to reactivate the backup cam option in ENG menu. Mine did the same after update. Menu changes a little bit. Check following thread.
