It's pretty light at ALL speeds on US models...almost too light. I don't love it. But you're correct, only the AMG has speed-sensitive here.

Anyone who drives where a small child can be walking, crawling, or such behind the car and cannot be seen through the mirrors can benefit from a backup camera.

I have great visibility from my Jeep, and still am very careful when backing up because some kid dead center behind me could still be very hard to see.

The C is better than most cars, but small kids can still hide back there.

weird, at least brochure of 08 c class shows there are speed-sensitive steerings on all models. C63's is more advanced though.

Are you saying the basic geometry of the C does not work well on the track? I have read a few reviews that blamed the wheel/tire combo on the C for it's "skating" feel but otherwise the suspension setup was excellent. I think the C63 shows that this is the most capable C Class ever. (which honestly doesn't set the bar too terribly high) What tires are you running?

wattttt the c63 is one of the worst handling sport cars in its class. In handeling the m3 and even the is-f ****s on it. The bar was set extremly low not high on the handeling of this car.

tsk tsk

It's brutish, loud (sounds good), and tres cool

That's all a merc needs to be. None of this handling nonsense xD

You want handling, get an M3. You want everyone to know your name, and how nice your car sounds, get a C63.

Your 2009 does have a leather steering wheel, its just not the Nappa premium leather.

Good changes overall, my sources tell me that the new tire pressure system that tells you the pressure at each tire is across the model line as is the nappa leather steering wheel for all cars.

so the 2010 is going to get a complete facelift? or just a polishing? (I hope it looks even better!)

Also, anyone know if we'll be getting the rear-window-sunshade again? (in canada, on the 2010 models) I don't see why not...

No..the 2010 isn't changing. The facelifted model will be the 2011, which will come out in the fall of 2010.

If you want to feel light steering, you should try the E class. The steering on those cars is rediculously light compared to the C300 sport at least. Personally, I don't like too light of a steering either, but compared to the E class, the C300 has much stiffer steering, which I actually like better.

As seen in W203 series, steering improved in facelift also transmission and others points.Maybe this happen again.

Availibility of each model depend on market. In Europe facelift models start sales very soon after demonstration.
So W204 facelift expected here by October 2010.For other market will be available some time later.

Sorry but this is not correct. Not sure about a pre-facelift E-Class, but the steering in my E350 is much more heavy feeling than a current C300.

When will we be able to see the new C Class?

I'm planning to buy mine may 2010, so will the 2011 concept or something be out by then? Or is the 2011 just going to be the "polishing"? Since the last model lasted 8 years...
