I don't know which grill to keep on.

both of them look real good.
but personally i like the first one. |
Should that be a tough choice  ?
Keep the first one of course, the other one looks like some kind of roadkill abortion .. |
first one for sure.
I actually like the second one...didnt like it when I first saw it on ebay, but on your car it looks amazing imo
I like them both but I think especially with the CF front lip, go with the first one.
I don't like the fact that the second one has the MB star filled solid, where the OEM one has gaps between the spokes of the Mercedes star.

the CF one!
go CF!!!
CF - first one - second one belongs on a Chev - without the star of course. CF one is amazing.
CF for sure.
or CF the second one..the one strip CF..get best of both worlds ha |
like everyone else is sayin... 1st > 2nd
Same here, #1 for sure.

Thanks for all the replies so far and it basically went the way I thought it would. Yes the Cf fits real well with the overall scheme but it is just the stock grill with a CF laminate on the fins. I do like it but it needs a bit more work to make me 100% happy. I tried to do a CF overlay on the one fin but the adhesive I used was not up to the task and contact cement is a one shot try if it isn't perfect you are screwed. I'm going to leave the one fin on for a week or so to see if it grows on me.
BTW the fit is good but it is a pain to install as the bottom clips are hard to engauge I had to run a wire thru the slots on the grill to pull it into place. |

Stay with #1 or get the C63 grille from formymercedes.com
The single wing does nothing for the 2009 SL and it certainly does nothing for the C Class... |
Deff. the first one.... dont like the look of the second one (CL), your CF grill rules.....
#1
Strange, seems like I'm the only one that REALLY like the 2nd, it really goes well with your car.
Not loving the SL Grill , #1 i like
I'm thinking of blacking out the fins with gloss black vinyl this weekend just to see how it looks. I also think I have some vinyl faux CF in the garage.
Ron, honestly, the SL grille doesn't fit well on our cars. It looks good on an SL cause theirs is more squat and longer. On ours, it just looks more smashed up with too much openness on the top and bottom due to the height.
I would keep the second one because it will stand out
