Wheel Alignment Cost ?

Any idea how much wheel alignment costs ? Anyone in Canada have it done ? I'm going in for Service A soon. Should I get it done at the dealer ?

Thanks.:)

My dealer quoted be $145 for a four wheel alignment. I assume you lowered your car recently, if not why do you need an alignment? Don't tell me you let your wife/girlfriend drive the car?!?! j/k

In Seattle, $135 at the dealer. You will regret having it done a a generic alignment shop.

Thanks. I'll go for it at the dealer. I had my car lowered last year by one of the best $hops in vancouver. Haven't had any issues at all, but today after testing it out at high speeds (in a safe zone all straight roads ;) ), i noticed it was off slightly.

By the way , tires look perfect (ie: no wear along the edges, trademark sign of cars that have poor alignment).

I believe alignment is only covered under warranty for the first 6 months of ownership...I had an alignment problem when I first got my car and it was covered.

Where did you get it lowered? Did you also get new rims and tires?

I want to know too. I am going to lower my car probably this week but thinking rather I should get the alignment done along with the lowering or do it later.

75 bucks here at my wheel shop

The dealer quoted about $350 CAN for 4 wheel alignment... and if any bolts need to be replaced because of extreme cases where a driver ran over a pot hole or curb at high speeds, it's an additional $100.

So, I'll be getting it done, elsewhere :)

Got my Service A done, for about $323 CAN.

First alignment check before 13K mile or 1 year cover under warrenty. Checked mine before Service A at dealer. It is somewhere in warrenty book saying it is cover for first check.

Alignment Cost

I took my car to a Mercedes dealership in Fort Worth, Texas. For a four wheel alignment, they charged $197. I felt that price was a little high, but it was comforting knowing that it was being done by people whose primary business is Mercedes vehicles.

So it's not free for the first time alignment assuming your car is new?
