Some older Saab's (like 900s) used to rock three spoke wheels but with thicker spokes. Similar to the ones Vic Viper posted.

But the thin spokes on the W204? Not feeling it!

C300Sport 05-30-2009 08:25 AM

I like the old Saab SPG three spokers but these are really pretty horrible.

Where to put the lug bolts? That's so thin at the hub there's no room!

U-G-L-Y, and a half!

patrickkc 05-31-2009 11:12 PM

0 Yes and 34 No hahahaha

joebenz 06-01-2009 12:58 PM

TB5... 06-01-2009 01:02 PM

LOL... 100%

they are attached by a velcro strip located around the circumference of the rim!

this was just one of my... 'i wonder how it will look' threads... there will be more.

They had a pretty high offest (40-45mm) I think. The Ronal Bears were primarily 4x100 made specifically for MKI VW golfs and Cabrios. They fit 4 bolt MKIIs and MKIIIs as well.

I had a Saab 900 SE Turbo some years ago and they had som awesome 3-spoke Viking Shields. You guys that like Saabs, check out the Turbo X. It has a nice variation of the 3-spoke design. It is a 280hp AWD car that pays tribute to the original SPG. Also, Hirsch makes a great 3 spoke wheel for Saab, but I was not able to get it here in the US. See: http://www.elkparts.com/saab-93-ss-m...6_451_721.html

Saab has almost no aftermarket support here, so I avoided getting another.

Brabus Monoblock II. I'll bet a lot of you never seen them before or knew they were Brabus.

they looked great on the W124 and W140.

Brabus mono II multi piece pictured.

and of course having this for an engine doesn't hurt either Brabus S6.9 V12.
