5000K white eyelid LED picture thread
 

amdeutsch gave me an infraction for starting a group buy without permission and deleted both of my threads. Maybe that feeler-thread was not in accordance to forum policy, but I don't think the picture thread was even close to being a group buy :crazy: I pointed it out but I seem to be wrong :bs: Viva el oppression!


Here are the pictures where I compare a 5000K LED with a 4300K LED in a W204 C-class. These pictures were taken with "cold" LEDs. Once the car warms up, these 4300K LEDs turn purple and the 5000K do not change color. Don't ask me why I'm not that smart ;)

Yes, 194/W5W/... for eyelid with CANBUS resistors so it doesn't trigger any warning.

Get approval by Mr Vanos. That's what I did, straight to the top man.

i can 100% understand why a group buy on a forum of this size needs a admin to sign off on...

but a regular thread talkin about the product... that is pretty strict.

While I agree it was kinda strict, I could also kinda see the mods point of view in that there were people signing up, including the number of sets they wanted. That was pretty much what a GB thread would have had. Should have just had a poll without any kind of sign up and I think no one would have minded. :nix:

So is it safe to assume 5000k canbus w5w matches the best w/ factory Bi-Xenon??

I think it's about €12 or something to ship, dunno was in the last thread so not 100% sure. EU shipping was €7 and Europe €9 I think.

He's really overly strict :( I mean I just wanted to know if we could reach 100, I can't afford to get these made if nobody wants them... Maybe the actual feeler thread was like walking a thin line so I understand. Well sometimes I can get a bit verbal so :smash:

I would -again- like to point out that a group buy is pending approval by the top and that this is merely an image thread. I only answer questions from replies.

Yes the admins do not seem to be very fast. Or they are just ignoring me that's possible too :D

Actually, now that I remember, I think you might not be able to PM any mod/admin when you're on probation. I had a friend who was also on probation and he couldn't contact any admins about his status through PMs.

We will likely be able to pick them up at Pep Boys before this group buy gets off the ground. I agree with TB5, looks like the best product but I think the moderators are tired of big group buys for now.
Maybe they can set up a group buy section on the forum to simplify things????

why must moderators moderate group buys in the first place?
