Service during Lease
Hi guys,
I recently got a 39-month lease on a c350 and I had a question. The finance person mentioned that I had to do the service at the dealership everytime my car told me to. If I were to miss those service dates or not have it done at the dealership I would be charged at the end of the lease. Any one confirm this or have an input on this situation?
Thanks

Dealerships will cost an arm and a leg.
To save money go to another reputable euro shop (not mr.lube or something cheap), but something your dealership will recognize. These will be 60-ish, as opposed to 200-ish charged by the dealer..
There is a 2 year service, though that must be done at dealership. This is around 400 or so.
These are prices up here in Canada.
Good luck, let me know what you find out too.

You are required to show that required servicing was done...
...according to the warranty requirements, but it is up to you to decide where to get it done - you can do it yourself (keep receipts for parts and a logbook for the checks) if you are competent to do it, find an independent shop to do it for you or go to the dealer.
In all cases you need to be able to show that services were done on time and with the proper products...
