2010 C-Class Is Out - Any Thoughts?
So I checked the MBUSA website a few hours ago and bingo - the 2010 C-Class is now shown on the website.
I'm surprised that there is a new optional lip spoiler available but kind of disappointed that there are no new engine updates. Even a few horsepower or some increase in torque would have been nice...
Any thoughts guys?

Yeah, I saw it just now. C300 has new 5 spoke rims, new mirrors, and LED taillights are standard on all models. But C350 is still 2009, weird.

You can't get Dynamic Handling Package if you have Almond/Mocha Upholstery....any other color is fine, but not that one.

I was looking on the website and couldn't find a picture of the "Nappa Leather Steering Wheel" that were supposed to be new for the Sport models. Anybody know if they're actually there and have a pic?

Doesn't seem to be that much different than the 08/09 models...
However, $1500 for the dynamic handling package incudes 18" amg is an excellent deal...

also, Pewter Metallic has been replaced with Metallic Pearl Beige.
There's a lot of options for stereo sound and multimedia, insteading of just having the pricey MM package, which I like.
The Dynamic Handling Package is not offered for 4matic, unfortunately.

Is the command system new?? I thought Audio 50 would come w/ some sort of the navigation??

The only ones I saw are the old PUR lips for the Lux model.
I don't see anything that impressive except for the Dynamic Handling package

since the camera is under the accessories option, do you think it can be dealer installed?

Sorry I meant front lip spoiler. I don't recalling previously seeing any PUR lips for the lux model but I may be mistaken. What i'm talking about is under C300 Sport in Accessories -> Exterior Appearance -> Front Apron Spoiler Trim when you option the car out.

The new engines will not be available for America until their fuel meets the new low sulphur & other standards. 3 way Cat produces benzines running on high sulphur fuel. This could be some way off because US wants cheap fuel & you can't have it both ways. US E Class will not have new engines either.

Because when China & the USA starts firing on all cylinders again fuel prices will go through the roof .

Well its not as much of a consideration for me as it was before. The roads here in the vicinity of Boston and the traffic are both bad enough to ruin my fuel economy. Its alright but nowhere near as good as I got when I was living in Florida. Plus, I don't drive enough for it to be a major consideration anymore (in college half the time without a car) but at the times I do drive 4matic is important (christmas-time etc). Thats why its a shame that they didn't even bring over the C350 4matic.

Anyone know when they will be at the dealerships? Guess I will be purchasing an 09 C350 when incentives and rebates kick in with the arrival of the 2010's since there are no real changes.

as for the LEd tailights, do you guys think that the site is referring to turn signals? or is this the brake lights too. should be an easy mod

'08 C300 4Matic, '91 300E and '88 190E 2.3,
In the "Vehicles" section of the MBUSA site there is no option given for a C300 with 4-Matic. Perhaps MBUSA needs to update there site or this option has been eliminated.
