2008 Mercedes C300 4Matic
Just a heads up

I just noticed my brakes are making a slight squeaking sound so I figure their about to go pretty soon. But anyways, in the brochure when I first bought my car I found a little paragraph that actually states that our brake pads and discs are covered under warranty. Here is the exact paragraph:

Wear and tear coverage
For 24 months or 40,000 km (whichever comes first) many items normally considered "wear and tear", such as light bulbs, brake pads and discs, are covered. If necessary, an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will replace these parts at no charge to you.

Can anyone confirm this? This is in Canada.

I found it for US cars.

page 11-12 of the service and warranty booklet (2009)

exact wording:

Brake Pads and Discs: brake pads and discs are covered against defects in material or workmanship for 12 months or 12,000 miles whichever occurs first.

Glass: glass is warranted agaisnt stress cracks for 12 months or 12,000 miles

This is the same for wiper blades and inserts, tires, wheel alignment and balancing
