C-CLASSE W204-HELP FOR INSTALATION MARKER BUMPER LIGHT

1 Attachment(s)
Hola amigos.
I have an MB W204 without marker bumper light. I bought one pair of those on Ebay but I didnt instal them yet because I think I need the internal housing were this other bumper light go.
Does anybody have any information about this special part Im talking about? any description or something about this internal housing that comes instaled on the bumper?. This is the last part I need to be able to instal the bumper lights.
Also if anybody have any information about the complete kit of the W204 factory original marker bumper lights it would be great. Any number, description or something?.
Thank you
Ubaires

everyone here is trying to get rid of their side markers but you're trying to install one??

for the housing that u're talking about, do u mean the black thing that you plug the bulb into and twist into the lens?

Thats because in ROW some people want them but don't have the factory parts OEM. You need to expand your horizons. Different cultures, different wants, etc.

Yeah....odd desire outside of USA to reduce chances of not being well seen at night in an intersection and hit by oncoming driver. Here, we know style is more important than reducing the chance of an accident.

We hate them and you like them.

Instructions on how to change them perhaps? When I get my C300, I'm going to change them to the clear ones.

well of course. i understand that. im saying that just cuz its kinda ironic..

just like the rear led turn signals. some ppl in europe likes the american spec red signal lights, while some ppl in america are trying to change theirs to the normal yellow that the row has.

there are also many other things and bigger issues :blah: but im gonna stop and not hijack op's thread now =]

Ok.... gracias amigos!
but the explanations you gave me no one is usefull.
I look first safety, thats why I bought an MB and Volvo.
Anyway from style or taste there is nothing written, thats personal. For example, I like riding my Mercedes naked every morning... if anyone doesnt like my style I dont care! ja ja ja
Anyway, if anyone knows how to install this lights plase let me know!...
Thanks and great forum!
Ubaires.

Installing these side marker lights in your vehicle will require more than just cutting holes and splicing wires if you want to do it correctly. In addition you have to review your traffic laws. In some countries they don't allow yellow side markers in the front, white or none only.
