Where not to park.
 

Yesterday, I ran over to the local Walmart and though I had found a pretty good parking spot.

When I returned, I cranked up the C300 and I had the worst odor you could imagine. My first thought was "is this the smell some have posted about in MBWorld?" But it was much worst than that. Then I jumped out of the car and checked the bottom of my shoes.....bet that looked funny by anyone watching. Nothing on the shoes. Then I figured I must have run over someone's pet in the parking lot and while in the store, decomposition kicked in.

Well I back out the car from the parking space to find that I had parked over one of those rain drains in the parking lot. Ta Da....found the source of the smell.

moral of the story = don't park over a drain. :P hope your car airs out nicely :eek:

Sometimes the best spots are the worth.

The odor got out of the car pretty fast, however every time I go past a Walmart now, I immediately think of that odor. lol That may take a while.
