"Engineering Mode (1/2)" Assistance

I've never gone into the Engineering Mode before. Tonight, I went into it to enable the option of uploading MP3s to the HDD. I was able to enter the engineering mode menu, but it said "Engineering Menu (1/2)". That screen contained 7 options. I was unable to get to any other screens - as I think the MP3 option I'm looking for is #17 on the list, based on what I've seen in another post. The logical solution would be using the COMAND controller knob to scroll down, but it stopped at #7 with no option to get to a second screen.

Am I doing this wrong? If not, how do I get beyond this first screen? I searched the forum and couldn't find anything regarding this particular issue.

Thanks.

pull down on the command controller knob, not scroll. it moves to the next page. (2/2)

yes, you need to pull the knob backwards

hey let me know if you can do this as I would like to add mp3's to my hard drive too and if it is possible i would love this feature.

Thanks for the help. Yes, pulling down on the knob got me to the next menu screen. The problem now is that I seem to only have 10 options on my entire menu, where it looks like others have three pages. I'm baffled. Any ideas? When the option I'm looking for is #17 on a list of ten, I think I must be doing something wrong or am looking in the wrong place.

option 7 > sub option 7 > sub option 15
look for headunit (HU) parameter.

Thanks, theinmoe! I'd just figured it out as you posted this. I guess one has to be smarter than the car.

For the others who are interested in what I'm trying to do, here's the thread:

Thanks again for the help.
