i dont know about hp gains, but the tornado did save me about 2mpg on my nissan patherfinder. its not much, but you gotta save what ever you can on an SUV.

For low rev, swirling the intake air will improve combustion. But for high rev you want straight flow. Tornado does work for most old engines that do not swirl intake air in low rev range.

MB's M272 engines are already designed with Turbulence Flaps in the intake ports so adding Tornado might disturb the desired air flow swirling and degrade performance instead of improving performance.

Google with.. Turbulence Flaps Mercedes .. and you will see a few articles talking about the MB turbulence flaps.

Yea, the commercials got to me. I figure $30 for shiets and giggles couldn't hurt. Besides it worked sort of so I dont regret it. LOL
