Navigation screen won't pop up when I press "ON" button.. any idea?

As of this morning, the navigation screen won't pop up. It was working fine yesterday. This means the radio, navi, phone, etc. doesn't work. Before I take to my dealership, does anybody know why this happened and how you can fix it w/o taking in for service? Thanks guys

can you hear an electric motor buzz for about a second when pushing the button?

I didn't hear anything at all.. just the sound of the button being pressed..

There is a fuse to pull in the trunks panel I want to say 7 but I could be wrong. Do a forum search it has been mentioned in the past.

Seems I was wrong must be getting old. Here's a thread I found that might help.

that's weird... take it to the dealer and avoid doing something they can use as an excuse for failure... Keep us UpdatED!, this can happen to anyone... hope you can fix it soon!

Does the radio work or is the entire system down?

I can fool around with the fuse box but figured I'd just drop it by the dealership to have them take a look... I'll keep ypu updated later today when I find out what had happened... very bizarre and unusual.

I had same issue.
Programmed to go to dealer.Had a second tough.
I did open the fuses/relays door in the trunk (right side) and pushing a little on the fuses and tapping on the relays solved my problem.
Hope works for you too.

My car has been at the dealership for a full day now and they still haven't officially diagnosed the problem. I'm really hoping that this does not have anything to do with the VIM that I installed over 1 year ago. Does anybody know anything about the VIM causing this problem and if its fixable? Thanks

this happens to me pretty often... it happens almost 100% of the time when I shut the engine down while the screen is coming down. if i do that, the screen wont open up at all. i fix the issue by resetting fuse #20? i believe... anybody know of a permanent fix?
