Just got a black on black '09 C300 Sport Sedan last Monday, and I've just been roaming around this forum reading up on the car and what you can do to it. I don't really plan to do anything performance-wise, just a few things to make it look nicer, even though it's a sexy car as it is. The car is pretty much as basic as you can get it, no package or anything. Got it for 34 thousand including tax and other stuff. Good deal, right? So here's a few topics and questions that I have:

Rims:
I'd like to get some in the future. Nothing really to talk about here but there is one question; does anybody have any advice or comments on rims? Like how not to look ricey or anything like that.

HID Lights:
A popular topic, I guess. I've searched and read pretty much all the topics on these but I still have not fully grasped the whole concept. I'd like to get 6000K, what does the K even stand for? Haha. And also these: Ballast? Error-canceller? All I know is the C300 uses H7 bulbs and the fog lights require drilling or cutting. I don't really know anything about the headlights, probably because their pretty much self-explanatory. I really need an in-depth guide on this. Again, any advice or comments?

Clear Side Markers:
Something I've seen mentioned here. Where do I get them?...And how do I install them? Haha.

Air Filter/Intake:
Here, I really have NO clue! I've just heard it saves gas, gives better throttle response, horsepower, and torque, and makes it sound good. I really need more info on this.

Interior(Just a question):
What is this rubber tray-like thing directly under the screen? It seems like it's removable because the corners don't stay down all the time.

That's all I have planned so far. As you can see, I know near to nothing about cars. Haha. But my cousin knows a good deal about cars, so installing this stuff should be know problem with his help. If you have any other suggestions as to what I can do, feel free to suggest it.

A lot of the answers to your questions can be found on the W203 forum as well; HID, filters, etc. Side markers have several links posted.

Welcome! Yeah about the rubber tray thing, my corners come up to. Not really sure why either haha. I'll try to remove it this afternoon to help confirm.

How much do the 18" AMG 5-Twin-Spoke Wheels that come with the C350 cost?
I'd like to put them on my C300, but I don't know.

if you have the 4matic, then you wont be able to put those rims on.

the rubber thing in the center console: change

and you can get clear side markers from ebay. i got my smoked ones from there
have a local MB service center to put them on. they take about 10 mins to install.

for the HIDS.. ive been working with iJDMtoy.com or MotoringMax on ebay. i got 6000k headlights, ultra white parking lights, ultra white license plate lates, and 3000k yellow fogs

I am running the 18in AMGs on my 4MATIC without problem. The OD of the staggard set up is nearly identically on front and rear.
