Evosports pre-painted bumper reflectors

Hey guys.. I was just wondering how are the fit of these and do the colour matches 100%? couldn't find much complaints about them so I assume they are perfect?. The colour match should be 100% to the bumper and fit snuggly right?

thanks,
Patrick

I assumed they were OEM ones that they had painted.

Exactly.

Find out how much an extra set of bumper reflectors would cost you and have them painted at a body shop. That or just paint the ones that you have now . . I am sure either way it'd be cheaper than what they're charging ($150)

You could also wrap them in vinyl, that's what I did and it came out looking great.

+1, Vinyl is a great option IMO because it is, in most cases, a better finish that is reversible. You might have to change it from road debris over much time, but I wouldnt worry too much

An if you have a non-specialty paint, definitely consider vinyl. Im just not sure about peeling or if the side markers get hot, but alexlev has done it, so ask him...

I've had the vinyl on for about 4 months now and it still looks the same way it did the first day I applied it. No peeling nor fading evident at all.

The vinyl was purchased from stickercity.com

I just checked their site and they have matte white vinyl in stock.

Shop around though, I am sure there are other places that sell vinyl.

hmm.. they have the precuts for the CLK bumper reflectors..but none for the new c-class yet I guess. Besides adding the vinyl did you change the bulbs inside to stealth bulbs? I'm afriad that if I just vinyl over it... there will be light leaks or if I get a white one scared the light might go through a bit and make it look terrible.

I still have the original bulbs installed. If you look directly at the side markers you can see a little bit of light visible at night. I'll take a picture a little bit later to give you an idea, it is hardly visible.

You could probably keep the bulbs out as long as it doesn't throw an error.
