lol what a jerk.... it should be cool dude with clear side markers with either white or amber lights... cops didnt say **** when they got me for my blinkers being blue...

I live in Orange County, CA. I replaced both my wife (E320) & mine (CLK) side marker to clear at least 5 or 6 years now, never having any problems with CA highway patrol or the police (I was stopped once, but they do not care, busy writing the speeding ticket).

cops have better things to do than enforce your sidemarker colors, but it is illegal. Legally in cali, you're supposed to have orange sidemarkers

its been awhile since i read the ca vehicle code and dot regulations on this but iirc front reflector need to be amber and rear reflector need to be red. front light color needs to be amber and rear light color needs to be red...
therefore, amber bulb with white reflector only satisfies the light color but fails the reflector color requirement...
