Figured I should make my own thread of my progress as I go with modding the car. I can't figure a better name to call it besides Emo-Spec. Not that I am emo, but the car seems pretty emo.

My C350 was purchased on October 19, 2007 with a production date of August 2007 in Bremen, Germany. To date, it has accumulated 10035 miles.

Once I get the parts I am waiting for in the mail, I will do a proper shoot of the car including moving shots.

nice... the car is unique for sure... lots of black outlined trim... hmm

imo... gotta get rid of that orange markers... and maybe paint the chrome fog surrounds... keep with the black outlines... maybe the carbon fiber side mirror covers.

That car looks amazing! I love the emo look haha.. now that I have seen the pictures it reminds me.. I have to wash and wax my car!

man i have been debating putting black trims around my tails forever... would probably look great on white...

but i have been getting lots of complements on my ride lately, so i would hate to over do whats already hot...

your trims look great though imboom, add more to the fogs to balance out though...

I can't vouch for this manufacturer's fitment claims nor the quality build as this isn't the exact grill I got. It is actually different from the K1 besides the DCF.

I took the chrome headlamp rings and painted it with 2 coats of satin black and triple coats of clear.

Thanks. Honestly I may look into sidemarkers in the future but here in Honolulu, we have this stupid law called Reconstruction Permit we will require to obtain if we mod suspension and the like. The problem is that police love to enforce it as it is their cash cow and non amber side markers are not allowed and one of those things that tips cops to pull you over.

Thanks! It is quite expensive for the set and painting it is easy. You just have to have the patience. Do whatever you feel like you want on your car.

I was on the fence on it for a bit too. The reason I put the front trims on is that originally, I wanted the rear trims, but as I applied the tint lamin-x covers on the front headlamps, the driver's side edge had a small "lasagna-like" ripple that wouldn't go down. It is a good cover to keep it down and not noticable. Believe me, it looks really good from 8ft away and on since my len's polarizing filter just goes past the lamin-x tint. It's almost completely dark from that distance.
